HTC P4300 Review | ArticleGift.com

HTC is a company that many Americans have never heard of, and it is a real shame, as they make some of the best and most high tech phones on the market. The HTC P4300 is no exception, as it is a seamless blend between slim, stylish design, and PDA functionality. As a smartphone, the HTC P4300 is one impressive device with enough features and functions to wow the business crowd as well as the tech junkies.

Described in their advertisements as a phone that has as much functionality as a laptop, the HTC P4300 is a device that is sure to be a welcome addition to any business traveler?s belongings. Unlike so many other smartphones that have a diminutive QWERTY keyboard built into the phone?s faceplate, the HTC P4300 takes the extra step to give users a keyboard that is actually large enough that you won?t get a hand cramp. The keyboard is integrated into a sliding lower half of the phone, keeping it protected when not in use.

But HTC didn?t stop there with the P4300?s impressive design. Because the keyboard is mounted on a slider and does not need to take up space on the front, HTC has included a massive touch screen, a la Apple?s iPhone, making the HTC P4300 one of the most diverse and unique smartphones on the market. Not only do you have a full keyboard for faster typing but you also have a touch screen for added cool factor (and usefulness).

As far as technical specs go, the HTC P4300 is loaded out with goodies. The phone runs Microsoft Windows Mobile 5 for easy integration with your home or work computer. Furthermore, there is a built in 1.3 Megapixel camera, a mini SD card slot, Bluetooth functionality, and Wi-Fi 802.11b/g. Although the camera is relatively poor for such a high end phone, the rest of the features more than make up for this shortcoming. After all, this is a business based phone first and foremost.

Pros

-Sliding full QWERTY keyboard
-Huge touch screen monitor
-WiFi
-Music/Media player with expandable memory

Cons

-Shoddy camera image quality
-Expensive

Overall

The HTC P4300 is as much an exercise in technological achievements as it is a useful device. If you are the type of person who uses their phone all the time, this is the device to purchase. Although its purchase price is high, this is a phone that can easily last you for two or three years to come.
