Job Description:	NOTE: Position does not qualify for College of Business credit ? UNPAID North Texas Public Broadcasting (KERA) is seeking a student intern for Fall 2011 to assist the Marketing & Communications Department. The successful candidate will have a passion for digital and social media marketing & communications with a specific interest in broadcast media. Excellent communication skills are required, particularly written. The intern will work 3-4 days per week to assist with various tasks and duties and will report directly to the Director of Marketing & Communications. This internship opportunity with NTPB is an unpaid opportunity and no compensation will be given. To qualify for an internship with KERA/KXT, the individual must be currently enrolled full-time as an undergraduate; have completed his/her freshman year; be returning to college or currently be a full-time sophomore, junior or senior; and be carrying a minimum of 12 credits per semester. Written documentation from the college stating the intern?s undergraduate full-time status must be received before the internship begins. Internship opportunities may be from six weeks to multiple semesters. It is preferable that the intern opportunity is for class credit. The intern will meet the education standards set forth by the university or college managing the internship. Excellent communication skills are required, with particular emphasis on good verbal and written skills. Student must exhibit maturity and dedication to the internship.
