Spirituality is a relative term. Different religions portray spirituality as different things and one cannot simply compare them as they are completely different from each other. Christianity for example says that spirituality happens in two dimensions. One is between God and the person and one is between the person and the world. Having proper relationships in both dimensions is true spirituality is what they claim. This is a purely holistic idea and can be commendable. However, there are individualistic perspectives as well where thedefinition of spirituality varies. In such an aspect, spirituality becomes the relationship with God and nothing else and the stronger the connection, the stronger the spirituality is. A clean spirit that is not very immoral in its being canned be considered a spiritual soul as spirit cannot sin and only the flesh is considered sinful. Therefore, a general definition would be a soul that tries to be pure and maintains orderliness in the world.
